Age Requirement
WebStories is strictly for users 13 and older. By creating an account, you confirm you are at least 13. Parents/guardians: if your child created an account without authorization, contact us so we can remove it.
1. Intellectual Property & Sole Authorship
WebStories is a personal storefront and reading platform operated by a single creator. Every comic, chapter, illustration, character, name, world, panel, and cover published on this website is the original work of the site owner and is fully owned by them.
- Sole Author: All content is written, drawn, and published exclusively by the site owner. No third-party creators contribute to or publish on WebStories.
- All Rights Reserved: All comics and chapters are protected by copyright law from the moment of their creation.
- Reader License: Unlocking a chapter (via WS coins or cash) grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to read that chapter on this site. It does not transfer ownership or any right to redistribute.
- No User Uploads: WebStories does not accept comic or story submissions from users.
2. WS Coins, Chapter Unlocks, and Pricing
WebStories uses a simple two-tier pricing model. Every chapter costs 1 WS coin (the site's virtual currency) or $1.00 USD if paid directly via Stripe.
WS Coin Packs can be purchased from the Shop with the following discounts:

- WS coins are a virtual in-site currency. They are not legal tender and have no cash value outside this website.
- WS coins do not expire but are not transferable between accounts and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Coin purchases are processed by Stripe. The site owner does not store your card details.
- Once coins are credited to your account, the purchase is final and non-refundable, except where required by law.
- If a chapter is technically inaccessible due to a confirmed site bug, contact support and the chapter unlock will be re-applied or your coin restored.
3. Copyright Protection & Anti-Piracy
Because every piece of content on this site is owned solely by the site owner, the following are strictly prohibited:
- Copying, screenshotting for redistribution, screen-recording, downloading, scraping, or extracting any chapter, panel, or illustration.
- Re-uploading, mirroring, translating, or republishing any chapter on any other website, app, social platform, marketplace, or printed medium.
- Using the comics, characters, names, art style, or world-building as the basis for derivative commercial works.
- Sharing unlocked chapters with users who have not paid for them (including via screenshots).
- Reverse-engineering or attempting to bypass the WS coin / paywall system.
Violations will be met with takedown notices, account suspension, forfeiture of any remaining WS coins, and where appropriate, legal action.
4. Donations
Donations are voluntary gifts that go directly to the site owner — the sole creator of every comic on this site. They are not a purchase of any product, service, or right.
- Donations are processed by Stripe.
- Donations are non-refundable.
- Donating does not grant any chapter unlocks, WS coins, or special access — those must be purchased separately.
5. User Conduct & Acceptable Use
By using WebStories you agree to:
- Use the site only for personal, lawful reading and discussion.
- Not harass, bully, threaten, or use hateful or discriminatory language against the site owner or other readers in comments, reviews, or profile pages.
- Not attempt to bypass paywalls, scrape data, exploit bugs, manipulate coin balances, or interfere with the technical operation of the site.
- Not impersonate the site owner or any other reader.
- Keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account, including coin purchases and chapter unlocks made from it.
6. Content Removal & Enforcement
The site owner reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to:
- Remove comments, reviews, replies, or profile content that violates these Terms.
- Suspend or permanently ban accounts engaged in piracy, harassment, or repeated abuse.
- Cooperate with law enforcement and pursue legal remedies for copyright infringement.
7. DMCA & Anti-Piracy Notices
If you encounter a copy of any WebStories content on another website, platform, or service, please report it to [email protected] so we can issue a takedown. Include the original work, the location of the infringement, and your contact information.
8. Account Termination
WebStories may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service.
- Engage in piracy, redistribution, or reposting of any chapter or art.
- Harass or abuse the site owner or other readers.
- Misrepresent your age (under 13).
- Attempt fraud, chargebacks without cause, or any abuse of the coin or unlock system.
Remaining WS coins and chapter unlocks of terminated accounts are forfeited when the termination is for cause.
9. Limitation of Liability
WebStories is provided "as is" without warranties. The site owner is not liable for:
- Service interruptions, lost progress, or temporary unavailability of chapters.
- Loss of WS coins resulting from account compromise caused by user negligence.
- The actions of third parties who pirate or redistribute the site owner's content without authorization.
10. Modifications to Terms
These Terms may be updated at any time. The current version is the one displayed on this page. Continued use of WebStories after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account, buying WS coins, unlocking a chapter, donating, or otherwise using WebStories, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform immediately.
